Pythias McNair

Brother Pythias McNair went to be with the Lord on March 20, 1993 at the age of 79 years.

He was born to the union of Dow and Clara McNair on November 3, 1913 in Port St. Joe, Florida. He was a member of Tabernacle Baptist Church, and he retired from General Motors on October 1, 1974.

He leaves to cherish his memory one daughter, Joyce Robinson; and three sons, John McNair of Saginaw, Wilbert Thomas, Obie Thomas of Ohio; three brothers, Nathan McNair, Willie James McNair of Florida, Alex McNair of California; four sisters, Nora Butler, Mary Peters of Florida, Mildred and Mercedes Dixon of Washington, D.C.; mother-in-law, Ida Jackson; two daugthers-in-law, Freda McNair and Aretha Hairston; one son-in-law, John Robinson; three dear cousins, Olean Williams, Bee Taylor and Henry Clark; nine grandchildren; eleven great grandchildren, many other relatives and friends. He was predeceased by his wife, mother and father, one sister, two sons, one grandson and a twin brother.
